MEET THE ARTISTS / ADULT PROGRAM

Mural designer/lead artist Janet Braun-Reinitz and project director/artist Jane Weissman present a slide lecture about the mural's motivation, execution and themes. Audience members will be encouraged to share their personal recollections and stories about the women featured in the mural.

FAMILY PROGRAM
Saturday, February 25, 1 - 2:30 pm

Central Branch/Youth Wing

Following a brief illustrated explanation of the mural by Jane Weissman, Janet Braun-Reinitz conducts a lesson on how to draw a face, with emphasis on proper shape and placement (e.g., siting of ears to eyes). Kids and parents draw each other and take home their creations.
